Description of work
T8.1 Operational Management (UKOU)
- Communication with the EC and Coordination of Reporting;
- Reporting to the European Commission on all necessary issues; coordinating the interim and yearly activity reports; coordinating the final report;
- Resolution of conflicts;
- Integration of new partners and competences should those be required;
- Work package handling: acceptance of new work package actions and the support of existing work package processes.
- Supporting and overseeing the work of STELLARnet committees, in particular the regular sessions with representatives of the Stakeholders Advisory Board (with WP5) to ensure that the Industrial stakeholders have a voice at an executive level.
T8.2 Financial Management (UKOU)
- Accounting and preparation of budget based on the Joint Programme of Activities;
- Financial control, timely collection of audits and reporting to the EC;
- Monitoring income and expense plan execution.
T8.3 Legal Management (UKOU)
- Negotiations and monitoring of consortium agreement;
- Negotiations and solutions for legal relationships among Network members and between Network members and external organizations;
- Intellectual property management.
T8.4 Scientific Management (UKOU)
- Scientific Liaison with the Commission
- Promoting scientific outcomes
- Managing scientific processes and ensuring scientific quality control
In WP8 all tasks and deliverables must be lead by the UKOU who will appoint staff to the effective management of the Network; and who will lead on the reporting. However, a significant contribution to the Management of the Network will be provided by UB and EPFL who will both share a management role in, in particular, Operational Management tasks and Reporting. Regular virtual management sessions will be lead by the UB and EPFL teams who will contribute significantly to the reporting in the phase in which they are responsible for the major milestones (see B.1.3.7).
