Description of work
Tasks related to the organisation of the STELLARnet Meeting of Minds include:
T2.1: establishment of STELLARnet Advisory Board
- The Advisory Board could include:
- scientific coordinators of similar research networks, for instance on other continents,
- learning executives from corporate or non-governmental organizations,
- recognized experts in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning or related domains,
- policy makers, either within large institutions or on the regional, national or European level.
T2.2: preparation of STELLARnet Meeting of Minds Strategic event (two events)
- This involves the logistics (location, travel, lodging, …) as well as the clarification of the concrete goals, the elaboration of the agenda, the briefing of the participants (incl. overview material on the activities carried out in the previous year and the planning of the activities in the next year of STELLARnet).
T2.3: post mortem of STELLARnet Meeting of Minds (two events)
- This includes the analysis of the feedback from the participants, the explicitation of the results of the meeting, the feedback from the STELLARnet network participants on the relevance of the meeting results.
T2.4: set up of STELLARnet Interview podcast series
- This includes setting up recording services in at least KUL and UKOU, making sure that the podcast distribution channel is operational, setting up an infrastructure for tracking the downloads of the podcast items, as well as gathering audience feedback an discussion of the podcasts on web sites, blogs, etc.
T2.5: evaluation of STELLARnet Interview podcast series (after each year)
- Based on statistics of downloads, references to the podcasts, feedback from the audience, etc., as well as from the contributors to the podcast series, we will carry out a yearly evaluation of the things that worked well and those that need to be improved in order to maintain or increase the relevance and quality of the podcast series.
KUL will lead this WP and be the main responsible for organizing the Meeting of the Minds as well as the podcast series. UKOU will contribute to the podcast technology. All partners involved will contribute to the promotion and dissemination of the podcast series, and will enable the participation of interested parties from their sphere of influence (geographically, but also for instance KC for industry and LUH for academia). CNR-ITD will ensure effective and efficient collaboration with WP3, and contribute to the analysis and evaluation of the Meeting of the Minds. LMU will focus on contributions to the podcasts from Rendez-Vous workshops and will liaise with Theme Teams and Incubators to prepare podcasts of their activities; it will also contribute to the evaluation of the podcast series.
